Glink for Android version 1.9.0 is now available!

Gallagher & Robertson are proud to announce that version 1.9.0 of Glink for Android is available on the Google Play Store and in G&R's webshop! This release introduces the possibility to have multiple concurrent host sessions, to auto-connect at start-up and to protect access to your configurations with a password.

The upgrade is free for customers who purchased earlier versions of the Glink for Android products.

This release introduces the possibility to have multiple concurrent host sessions also in the Android version of Glink. They can be any
mix of terminal and print sessions, to the same or different hosts and applications.
We have made the 'Export configurations' feature easier to access by moving it to the main menu. The configuration export/import feature allows administrators and power users to prepare customized configurations (including customized toolbars) and distribute them to other users.
We also allow you to enable auto-connect at start-up to the first session configured and to protect access to your configurations with a password. When configured the user is prompted for a password before getting access to Settings, General Options, New Configuration and Export Configurations.
Double-tap can be configured to mean Enter/Transmit.
This release also include a fix to a start-up problem on some devices with Android 5.0.
What is new in version 1.9.0

  • Optional auto-connect at start-up
